comments to improve

People treated Negro so bad. White-only hospitals did not treat them even if it meant they might die in the parking lot. 
- another way to write this can be; during that period of time white people treated colored people bad. White-only hospitals did not give the right treatment or attention to colored people even if they new they were dying in the parking lots.
